Where any person employed in a mine contracts any disease notified by the Central Government in the Official Gazette under section 25 of the Act, the owner, agent or manager shall within three days of his being informed of the disease, give notice thereof in the Form and method as may be specified by the Chief Inspector for the purpose, to the Chief Inspector, the Regional Inspector, the Inspector of Mines (Medical), the District Magistrate, and to the Competent Authority for payment of compensation.
